Spread across 200 acres, with a river and a private waterfall, Spice Valley is 20 kms from Kodaikanal.
This is a fruit orchard growing Organic avocado, orange, coffee, pepper and passion fruit, with multiple campsites. Set up camp in a 360-degree panoramic valley view, away from civilization and beside the wildlife sanctuary. You can visit our camp waterfalls and tree house. We have river and natural water pond where guests can have a swim. There is a nice elephant valley waterfalls one km from our camp. If guests want to spent second day they could spent whole day in that waterfalls.
There are also ancient ruins, that experts estimate to be almost 5000 years old.
Trekking options -
2.5 kms of plantations tour/trekking in the campsite for two to three hours where they can see and experience all our organically growing avocados, oranges, coffee, passion fruits, pepper, guavas, pomegranate, jack fruit, lemons etc. Our tour guide will explain about organic plantations may be guests can taste some organic fruits.
5.5 kms uphill trek within the property
Both the treks will have a guide who will walk you through the experience.
How to reach the camp?
The nearest public bus stop is Perumalmalai which is 8 km to our camp. Perumalmalai is located on the way to Kodaikanal i.e.12km.
So you have to get down in Perumalmalai and take a jeep to our camp. This jeep ride will cost Rs.500/-.
Note - Once you reach the parking spot there is a 300 meters hike to the campsite.
