The Tamarind Valley Farming Collective is a permaculture forest-farm sitting across a 100 acres hillside. TVC, as it is popularly known, is focused on regenerating the soil and the landscape, growing food for its residents and for visitors. On the slopes of a hill adjoining the Thagatty RF sandwiched between the Kodihalli and Anchetty Forests, this farm supports diverse flora and fauna and is blending in with the forest as the ecosystem improves.
As a visitor at the campsite in the farm, you experience all this and learn about the forest, about regenerative farming and soil rejuvenation, and reconnect with the natural ecosystem that we are dependent on for our food, water, air and our very existence. We take you on hikes to appreciate the forest, for birding and understanding the beauty of the Melagiris landscape where Kenneth Anderson would have once walked and feel what he later captured in his stories about the region.
Welcome to TVC!
Please note - Only veg food served here.
